GM wheel touch up paint and lug nuts for alloy wheels?

Post by E-Man »

Does anyone know if GM makes silver colored touch up paint for the Vibes alloy wheels (17") - I presume the same paint is used for the 16" alloys as well - If you can give me the part number for the touch up paint. Second, could someone please post a picture of the OEM lugnuts used for the 16 or 17" alloy wheels - I want to make sure I get the correct type (the acorn end or a flat end). Also, are the OEM lugnut ends painted the same silver color as the wheel or are theysomething different.thanksEd

Never heard of touchup for wheels...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Thanks for the info Nova. I went to the site and to get wheel touch uppaint - I need the base and clear it will be $22 bucks for 1 oz. To me that is extremely expensive. I will see how much the dealership will charge -- maybe I will be floored even more.thanksEd

You're right, those prices do seem high. I paid $5 for a 1/2 oz bottle but that was just the color, not the clear. Are you sure you need the clear coat? Check the dealer, it may be cheaper.
