OEM Nav in my 2003 Moons & Tunes?

Does anyone know if a 2003 Stock Navigation unit will be plug and play in my 2003 Moons & Tunes AWD Vibe?

I think it will for the most part. However, the factory nav install included an external CD changer. The NAV head unit doesn't need that, but the M&T harness doesn't have the wires to support adding one.

Since the basic non-Nav head unit is the same for M&T and non-M&T, and I think the speakers are the same for Nav and non-M&T the NAV head unit running output through the M&T amp should be ok. However, I never tried it, so if you do and it blows something up, it's not my fault

Hmm interesting. So are you saying I should be fine as long as I don't have an external CD changer? My understanding is this Navigation system doesn't have one. Just the CD within the unit itself.

I was saying that the factory install of the NAV unit came with an external CD changer and did not come with an external amp. I think you should be fine. I was trying to say that if you wanted to add an external CD changer then you might need to run some wires.
