In the manual, it states you need to pull out the pins on the arm so you can pull the blade holder up and out, then push the new blade in the arm and replace the pins...The picture of the "pin" is generic has no sense of where it's located...if you bend the wiper holder too much it might break...the fronts were simplicity personified...the back (which was let go too long at one point because it scratched the glass...) must be a GM translation of a Toyota description...any help?
The best way I can describe it is like this: There aren't any "pins". At the base of the wiper, its a cover. Grab the left side from behind and pinch the edges outward and pull; (I use my thumb on the bottom and index finger on the top), it will then pull towards you at a 90 degree angle (on a hinge) out of the way so you can pull the wiper arm towards you. Then simply lay the arm back down, and push the cover back until it snaps. The cover is there for a clean look so you can see the screw that holds it down.
Thanks for the link Carrie After my limited experience with "manuals" it doesn't surprise me that the description did not represent our Vibes accurately. This is where this forum of us GenVibers really pays off. Thanks to all of you/us here. We keep each other "sane" and just when you think you're about to lose your mind, GenVibe is here to the rescue !!!
