Motor Mount problems????

Post by 104035091024 »

03 vibe i've replaced the mounts once before and they've gone bad again.............does anyone have any ideas to why???
I don't mind the ones on the side and in the front but hate the back mount so i don't want to do this over and over
plus the fact that they went twice in two years makes me think something is wrong

please help......

What mounts did you use, GM or Toyota ones or the generic parts store ones? I've never had luck with the generic parts store ones lasting very long on any vehicle I've used them on, usually less than 2 yrs or so.

I don't think they are the same numbers. I just checked on the GMpartsdirect.com website, and they are EXPENSIVE! I would certainly check the Toyota parts prices too online.

Good luck on it!

Toyota has a separate part number for everything. The Toyota parts will almost certainly be cheaper.
