I wish I still had the can lying around for my brake drum paint. I remember it was high-temperature paint and it was gray, but I don't remember the paint code or anything. I'll ask my dad later if he remembers. They've held up pretty good, on year three so far and they're starting to show rust in a few spots, because of harsh winters. If I were to do anything differently, I'd add a few more coats of paint just to be safe. Epoxy sounds like a safe bet, I'm wondering if I should do the same as I'm planning on painting my calipers red very soon.
My door handles actually came in black (It may be because my car also came with unpainted body cladding), but I'm glad you think it looks good! Many members here have used plasti-dip with great success and have had long-lasting results, as long as you do it right the first time. It sticks on there good, but once you get tired of it it's easy to peel off too, it makes a rubberized coating.
The Hellas are great, I was just being cheap. I couldn't find them on Amazon.ca, and if I added the shipping to the American one (or the various ebay listings) it would have come up to around 70$. I figured I'd give the cheaper ones a try, but either one would be great especially for that price!
After a quick Google search, it appears many people on many car forums have painted their intakes with great results. Just make sure you don't paint the MAF area, so tape that off, and preparation is key. The common method seems to be scuffing it with light grit sand paper, cleaning it with some kind of acetone-based solution, priming and/or painting with high-heat engine enamel or paint.
The license plate lights require a T10 base wedge bulb, I'll find you the How-To on the matter. I got my bulbs on eBay for about $10 shipped from Hong Kong, and it took about 5 minutes to change them out. VERY satisfied with the results. The ones I got were 15 SMD (Surface mounted diode) ones, they have three LED's per side, same as the ones Chadhgraves used.

I figure lens tint wouldn't hurt the value of your car, since if you use film you can remove it at will. I only plan on tinting the yellow mid-portion, so I shouldn't lose much brightness either, maybe a bit on the turn signals. Results are pending as I have to get my hands on a heat gun and a few things before attempting the diy, and brighter bulbs should in theory help regain whatever lost brightness (if any).
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! I'm on here fairly often and my mods list is always growing

Next in line is a shift knob (ordered), caliper paint, hatch debadge, and window tint if my student budget permits.
