Radio Harness Illumination wire

the wire coming from the radio is orange/white. What color wire does it connect to? Is it the same?

The GMOS-LAN-01 manual states under 16 pin harness:
Connect the Orange/White wire to the illumination wire of the aftermarket radio. If the aftermarket radio has no illumination wire just tape off the Orange/White wire.

I will have to consult Kreskin or a swami to give any further help until there would be easily accessible info to what car, year, model, amplified, non-amplified, interfaces or harnesses, etc... :lol: I jest a little, it is tough for me to understand because I have not even pulled my radio out yet and have no real idea.

excellent reply. i neglected to mention I have an onstar harness. i will remove my radio AGAIN this weekend and try to find this wire.
