Painted my alloy wheels because they were bubbling [corrosion underneath paint]. Used rustoleum primer, high performance wheel paint, and clear coat. Two coats for each. Came out pretty good. Much better than it was. Took alot of scraping and sanding and taping but only cost about $30 in materials. Don't know how long it will last. Time will tell.

I've seen a few sets of wheels done with that paint w/good results...
how well it holds up depends on your prepration tho
