My car has the 16" steel wheels, and I can't find how heavy they are. Does anyone know the weight of the steel and/or aluminum stock wheels?

I used to want to know what the Steel wheels were vs the Alum wheel option. I was of the thought that if I could switch to solid alum wheels .. that this would lower the car's weight. I still don't know the answer for my old car and my '09 vibe. I am now of the opinion that a casted Alum wheel is almost the same weight as a steel wheel because there is more alum. then a "stamped" steel wheel is.

Not an exact answer to your question but I weighted one of my 16" steel wheels off my 09. It weighs 44 lbs w/studded winter tire installed. My aftermarket 17" alloy wheels weighs 40 lbs w/summer tire installed.
