Lowering with stcck springs

i want to lower my 2007 pontiac vibe but i dont want to pay for the lowering springs. Any suggestions?

Don't do a california drop by heating the springs and then cutting them. Your handleing and ride will suffer. If you're gonna do anything do it right the first time.

save up for some lowering springs and do it right...

you can find used springs for about $100 on here or matrixowners.com

Please don't cut your stock springs. Even new lowering spring aren't that expensive.

Yes they are real new Tein Springs. Definitely worth it, don't cut your springs. You'll screw your suspension up the first speed bump you hit.

Don't cut them, not worth the hassle and sacrifice you'll make on ride quality and possibly even safety. If you only want springs they're not expensive. I picked up some Canuck Motorsport springs for my AWD a month ago at 100$ brand new. Actually, I just checked and they have a sale on 2wd springs for your year at 100$ as well plus shipping. (Also it's a Canadian product so you know it's fly!)

I will agree as well. Don't cut your springs or heat them up. It will ride like a ban wagon and you will never have the option of returning it to stock condition without buying another set of springs. Buy the aftermarket springs. They are cheap and easy to install. Just think of it this way....If you do heat your springs and lower it, it will look cool but no one will ever look at it as a professionally dropped vibe. It's also awesome when people ask, how you dropped it and you tell them how you did it with a set of TEIN, Canuck ,etc. springs!
