Door Inserts

Upholstery, floor mats, seats, window tint and anything inside the vehicle and not electronic

Hey
Has any one reupholstered their door inserts?I was thinking about using leather to re upholster it.What do you guys think is it posssible?

I don't think I've seen anyone on here with that done.

Some of the guys on MatrixOwners.com have done it tho.

I think they used micro-suede or something?

Thanks guys, I checked Matrixowners and a Matrix owner from Toronto reupholstered his insert.He used micrsuede but had mentioned that it must stretchy and thin.I am just curious if you guys think leather is thin and stretchy enough.

Real leather would be too heavy and thick. It'd eventually sag or come undone (so I'm told)

And the fake leather is thin enough, but I doubt it contours well enough for the panel 8(

I saw a guy on 8thCivic.com use a Rogue Status T-shirt that was red with black assault rifles printed on it.
He has enough to do both doors in his Coupe...just the inserts tho.

If you're just wanting to do the inserts then fake leather may just work, or go to walmart and look at fabrics w/ cool print.
