Since our cars are not truly GM cars, the onstar is an add on, and not integrated into the headunit. We also don't have retained accessory power. I think those are the only reasons for the factory integration adapters. As long as you can get the proper harness, you should be good. If you have steering wheel controls and want to keep them, you'll need something for that. There are a few different adapters out there, but I don't know which one would work.

i have two choice on harness here.one is Metra p/n 70-2105 and other is American International p/n TWH-950as per installer its same as toyota and even AI catalog for 2010 calls same number under 2009 Vibe.

ok finally i open trim and remove factory stereo to see the connector at the back. Surprise surprise "factory stereo has decal "Toyota" Made in Mexico and Harness connecting factory stereo was two connector not single connector. means i have to use Toyota connector TWH-950. i am going to do post DIY later on for this project. i am going to put my Avionics engineer's Hat on and make DIY for all of us.

Thanks for posting the part numbers. I'm using the Metra gmos-lan-02 right now, but Onstar isn't important to me, either. I'd like to ditch it in favor of something simpler. I really only need something to get accessory power because my headunit's power and ground are run straight to the battery.
