Aftermarket Cruise Control trouble 2007 Vibe

Post by gorgecat »

My son and I just installed the Rock Auto Cruise control Stick on my 07 Vibe, 5 spd manual transmission. Did quite a bit of reading on this site and think I've followed the directions closely. Only took 1.5 hours. All appeared to go smoothly; horn worked and the CC light on instrument panel goes on and off when pushing the button. But when I took it to the highway it won't set on a speed. Never seems to engage. There is plenty of room for the stick to move.Is there supposed to be a light come on the dash when you set the speed?Any other ideas would help. Thanks.

Re: Aftermarket Cruise Control -w/ clutch switch it Worked!

After looking at a matrix forum I decided my situation required a clutch switch.Just got the switch, installed in 10 minutes, the plug was dangling above the clutch pedal and plugged right into the switch receptacle.Took it for a test drive and it worked wonderfully. Not bad for 71 bucks in parts and shipping! I like the plug and play part.
