near fatal

Post by Merzbow »

Today I was on my way to get a new job, traffic was heavy, stop and go. The car in front of me stopped kinda hard so i had to as well, when suddenly i hear this loud screaching and I looked in my rear view to the horror of seeing some lady in a sebring flying up on my (removed) with the brakes locked, she managed to swerve to the side and finally stopped even with my front end. Apparently she wasn't paying attention I would have gone nuts if my baby got hit -=Paul=-

Def., I was on Harper when this happened. The only other time I came to a close encounter was when I was cruisin through my sub at night and some idiot decided to drop a glass bottle in the middle of the street and didnt clean it up, so I slammed on the brakes so hard they locked up. I hate how stupid some people are. -=Paul=-

reminds me of fairbanks in the wintertime, except you dont hear the screaming of rubber on asphalt, just a smooth sliding sound, then a deafening CRUNCH !!! abs doesnt save your a** on ice either, lol !!! a thing they taught me in train-the-trainers smith systems driving was "eyes to the mirror, then foot to the brake" always glance at your mirrors, either inside or outside before placing your foot on the brake. also it helps if you have a car length between you and the car/crosswalk ahead of you when you stop just in case you are driving for the guy behind you (who's not paying attention) that way if you notice that the dweeb behind is looking like they are going to rearrange your metal, you can go forward a bit to either avoid or lessent the impact....im glad you werent hit, sounded like she would have hit ya hard if she would of connected!! could have been hurt bad too!!
