Hi everyone,I'm new to the site but not new to Vibes. I recently traded in my 03 AWD Vibe for an 09 Vibe GT. I actually looked at other cars before going with another Vibe. I figured after 6 years and almost 99,000 miles with only one problem (Left Rear Wheel Bearing), I couldn't go wrong with another Vibe. Anyway, I'm glad to be a new member and can't wait to hear all of the good tips and stories.

If you want to snow ski on Mauna Kea, you would need AWD. And then there's all that sand they have to contend with on the beach. They have it pretty tough out there on those little islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Hey _Brent_, welcome to the Vibe show! AWD in Hawaii, I know that is too funny. I actually moved here from Pittsburgh, PA where it does snow on a regular basis in the winter. I bought the AWD because I had to drive 90miles one way to cover service calls up in the mountains, Dubois. That place was definitely a place not to get stuck in the snow, very remote location and long distance between help, bad cell phone reception, the whole nine. Anyways, sorry to ramble on, but that is why I had the AWD. I'm loving my new GT. I was gonna post some pictures this weekend, but a certain individual from our house took both digital cameras on a 2week trip to the mainland.

Hey, I just noticed something, you are near where I used to go in Dubios, well sort of close. A lot closer than Hawaii-that's for sure. Looks like Lehigh is about 225 miles from Dubois. You definitely need an AWD Vibe

Niiiiiiiiiiiice!! Did you buy it from Fooeuger? or Futter? One like that rolled up alongside of me a couple of weeks ago going down Nimitz on a weekday a little before 9am. It had a couple inside, a Fooeuger dealer temp tag on it and license plate frame. I flashed them a I NEED to go to the car wash in the worst kind of way, but I looked out my window and it looks like it's raining in town lose money lidat

I'm usually on Nimitz around that time, but I didn't have anyone in the car. I got it from Plufger or however it's spelled. I have a regular plate now, no more temp plate. What color is your Vibe ? Oh yeah, for now since I don't have my camera, I decided to post my old Vibe Pics.This one is back in PA, only 3 months old. Vibe in Hawaii, 4.5 years old

I'm on Nimitz Tues-Thur mornings at that time (crazy schedule) I just gave "LeBra" a shower with my shower sprayer attachment hose, (neato!! It used to be such back-breaking work without it!) sooooooooooo looks like I have to go to the car wash now or else I'll have to go commando tomorrow and I don't want to do that Hopefully it'll still be a clean & shiny* Neptune when you do see me *please don't rain...please don't rain...please don't...

Yes, that is Sea Country. I moved out here in 07 from Mililani. I just posted pics of my 09 in the Garage Section. Your note says your Vibe is brown???? Is that a custom color ? I know the rain is killing me. I just washed my car yesterday and then went to Chez last night. Rained on again. If I dont' go past Kaoplei shouldn't see rain LOL.

I could tell it was Sea Country-I remember the ads for them-they were good prices (for Hawaii real estate market, anyway) No, mine is not brown...I was making fun of my dirty car. I just got back from Kapolei Shell carwash...I splurged for the "premium" ten dollar wash-she deserves it LOL; so far no rain...P.S.: what is chez?

Brown, LOL. I should have guessed. Chez Monique is a sports bar across from Pearlridge Mall. I went there last night to hang out with the guys. I go to that Shell Station for a wash sometimes.

I was running late today. Woke up sleepy and had to walk my 3 dogs. I was in the vicinity around 9am. Eye keep an eye open for the Brown Vibe LOL. I didn't see any problems in Chinatown. Not sure what that was about.
