My Pontiac dealer is closed on Sunday - but has Saturday and evening service hours.

Or maybe the state dealership trade association lobbied for it - it would be against the antitrust laws if the dealers all agreed to close on Sunday but if they lobby the state to make them all close on Sunday it is o.k.In Ohio the dealer assoc. lobbied to get an Ohio law that has the ultimate effect of setting the doc fee at $250 with no disclosure required in advertising. You first see it when they draw up the paperwork. Ohio has the best legislature that money can buy!

The dealers fought to get it changed. I liked it better the old way - you could go look for the car you wanted without a salesman bothering you...
