I was thinking about replacing the stock Goodyear's with these. My only concern is that they are directional. That means I couldn't cross the tires if I felt it was necessary. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks,Andy
They are better that the OEM Tires, but traction in the winter could be better. We highly recommend the Good Year Triple Tread's; they are very good in all seasons.

I had those on my Alero. Good tire. I'm going to buy them again for my Vibe when I can. After these having these Goodyears on my Vibe I don't think I could ever buy that brand again. They have lasted a long time, but they are just junk for traction.
Thanks for the replies. I don't think I'll buy any Goodyear product again. I've had a couple bad experiences with them. Anyway, Tirerack has three different Traction T/A's. H, T, and V. Is there any difference in the tire other than the speed rating? Thanks,Andy
I had the Traction T/A's on my Bonneville. Improved the ride and handling quite a bit. Wet-weather traction was much better than the crappy off-brand tires I had before.

I'm sure someone will be able to give a definite answer.Post pics of your Z06!
Here's a pic of my Z06. A little bit sideways trying to get all I could at the finish line. I see a blue Z06 in the background of you sig. pic. Apparently that pic I posted is pretty small. Sorry, don't know how to make it any bigger.
Had a set for a '95 Camry with no complaints other than the rotational aspect.I ended up buying an extra rim and purchasing 6 tires so I could include the full size spare in the rotation. I just had to pray that if I did get a flat, it would be on the passenger side.
The Z06 is a lot of fun. Too bad it's winter so it's in hibernation.I think I'm going to get those tires. I've had good luck with BFG's in the past. Thanks for all the input.Andy
Goodyear tires can be good...or bad. The original equipment tires are not good.....the Assurance Triple Tread is great. I had some GT+4 tires that were horribly out of round and always caused a vibration and when I replaced them with GTII they were fine. OEM tires are usually the cheapest tires the factory can get and are not always that good of a tire.....I had Uniroyal Tiger Paws on my S10 pickup from the factory and they were horrible.....they had very poor traction and would make squeeling noises whenever you pulled into a parking space on blacktop.
I had BFG Traction T/As on the Regal for about 40k miles and they were pretty good. A hell of a lot better traction than the stock Eagle LSs, particularly under hard acceleration (and the Regal's 300+ ft/lbs of torque through the front wheels was very easy to make crappy tires slip).
I've been running Traction T/As on my GTP for 4 years now. They're pretty good at everything, really, I have no complaints. I have snow tires on separate wheels for winter time now, but for an all season tires the T/As worked well in the snow. I would buy them again!
Don't need the snows. Never have a problem even with the crappy stock tires. And I have my ZR2 if we need to get through really deep stuff. I ordered the Traction T/A's. Hopefully I'll get them on this week. Thanks for everyone's input.Andy
I put traction TA's on the front of my cavalier when the stock Goodyear Conquest wore out. Its still wearing goodyears on the back (I never rotated them) but I do like the TA's. I researched them on tire rack and had Sams Club order them and install them. I could have probably gotten a little better tire, but more difficult to obtain. Sams was easy to deal with.
