Sweet deal on the Audio, no so much on the lights, but I guess if you are into that sort of thing... Please tell me those wire nuts, were only tempoary? They have been replaced with proper crimp or better yet, solder, yes? Ho do you like the Polk Db's? I recomend them a LOT on my other forums... And the Kenwood... looks great in the dash.. On the Kenwood 12's are they spec'ed for 2cf per sub? That seems excessive for todays standards, they old subs or something?? Wait, I just saw "ported" which changes thins a bit.. Why Kenwood subs?? I'm sure we could come up with something a bit nicer.. They aren't "well" known for thier subs... I love posts like this BTW, shows people are actually modding these cars still... lol..
Yeah the wire nuts were temporary its soldered with heat shrink tubing over it now, they came out of a dead cop car wanted to make sure it worked 100% before I soldered it in and closed it up.I love the Polk dbs, new and old ones, best speakers I've heard for the money. The Kenwoods are mostly for looks, temporary till I get the money for Kickers. The whole system is going to run me the cost of one of my old 10" l7s lol and I didn't want to spend anymore on something thats only going in the car for a few months.Box is at max specs for the subs, I'm building it so that when I get the money two 12" l7s are going it and the ports are coming out.Subs don't actually seem that bad for Walmart-like prices and they will match my interior.http://www.onlinecarstereo.com...17651Thanks, ya needs to be more, there has to be over 20 bone stock vibes in the parking lot of my college, at least get some tinted windows......
I have one of those Kenwood subs in a ported fosgate box and it hits good--better then the previous 2 fosgate subs that were in the box before(blown two over the last 5 years). For the price they are outstanding.
I put a new vid up, updated the links. The strobes are out of a cop car cost me $20 but similar kits new are way too much $200+ but you can find some 90W strobe kits for less
