We'll never see it... It's to much car for Ford USA.. and for many US drivers... I'm still suprised we got the WRX and the EVO in the states and let me tell you, I was on the Subaru forums when they brought out the first WRX's and it was MAYHEM for the first year, people were wrecking them left and right... lol.. The closest we ever got to a decent small Ford car we got the the old GT, which was losely based from the Cosworth escort that we never got a chance to drive either.. .

So technically yes my car and this are similar, but this has the I-5 turbo engine and is tuned for Rally racing. Top gear did a review of the ST (similar car to the RS) and LOVED it. It can be done, but can you PAY for it.. lol.. I recently saw a Nissan Skyline GT-R33 that came over from canada..

Uh Ford said since i was so awesome and already a ms3 owner they'd ship me a focus RS euro spec for 1000 bucks and report my findings.ahah jk no i know i cant call ford to get the car. But i can complain Importing is too expensive atm so I will just mod my ms3 until i can get a RS

No, wait, i'm sure of it...
Ford got the message. Ford over the next few years is integrating their European and US lines. No more three generation back Focus. The next Focus will be the same in the US and Europe. We will also be getting the Fiesta and other cool Euro Fords. The F-150 teat has dried up.
it's because the R33 SUCKS. Most R32 Skyline owners who bought an R33 CRIED. And were thrilled when the R34 came out....the R33 is a left-handed red-headed stepchild of the R-cars!

Great performance car. When you talk about Ford Performance cars in Europe, Escort RS and (then) Focus RS comes to mind. When you talk about Ford Performance in the U.S., it's the Mustang. Ford does not want another car to cloud the Mustang image.Ford was that close from scraping the "Mustang" for the FWD Ford Probe. That's not going to happen again. Mustang got the be the fastest and baddest Ford in the U.S.Yes, we'll get a new Focus 100 years from now, but it will not be the "performance" version.
