My '09 white Vibe base

Post by SagWhite »

Here's some new pics of my new car, now with tainted windows:I really like my new car, it's comfortable but sporty enough, it's roomy, and good on gas.

Thank you for your comment. The "tint" is 50% in front and 20% rear.N.B.: Usually I speak and write in french, it's why I wrote "tainted" and not "tinted"!

Wow, white looks great on the '09s. I wasn't such a big fan of it on the earlier models, nor on most other cars (including my Regal).

Wait a minute, three things I gotta ask.1- Just how good on gas is the 1.8? Actual viewed MPG would be great. Is there an instant mileage readout in the gauge cluster?2- Are those wheel covers from an older vibe? Love 'em.3- The new Vibe's don't have mudflaps, I didn't think, are they only available in Canada or did you put them on yourself?

To answer your question:1- I'm on my second tank, but first time I filled it up I got around 27 mpg (100% city), but don't know how much gas was in the tank since it was not me who filled it (it was full, but when I fill it myself, it's really full!), and I'm still in my break in period, so I'm pretty sure I'll get around 30 mpg. And no there is no instant mileage readout in the gauge cluster (if you mean by that something that will show you your instant mpg).2- Those wheel cover are stock from an 09's base Vibe. I'm a canadian, maybe yours will be different, but I think they are the same.3- The dealer put the mudflaps for me, but this is "universal" Pontiac mudflap. I think molded mudflap exist also for the 09's Vibe.I hope it answer your question!

Okay, thanks! 27 with all city is just about what they say it gets, so I'm sure that after break-in it'll get better.
