Introduction - Vibrator08

Post by Vibrator08 »

I bought an '08 Vibe just a few days ago. It certainly has been a good idea to check out the information here on Generation Vibe as I've discovered a number of things my salesman didn't know about. There are questions the dealership can't answer so I hope to find answers here. I'll ask them in a separate post (makes for easier searching),This is my first new car, usually I wouldn't consider a new car because of the big amount of depreciation the first year. With the December Red Tag Sale and maybe some good dealing, I was able to save about $3k and get a better deal than what I'm seeing on the online price checkers.Optional equipment: Platinum exterior, 4 speed automatic, remote keyless entry, power door locks, power windows, cruise control.I was surprised that the Vibe doesn't come with more data inputs like a mileage checker and a digital compass. My old 2000 Chevy S-10 had a nice reminder for a left-on turn signal. The Vibe's seat belt reminder isn't as mild mannered either. It sure seems to be a lot peppier than the S-10 though. Here's a picture of me and my baby:

Enjoy the ride! Lot's of good people and good info on this site, never be afraid to ask anything. If you need some detail advice to keep that shiny paint well...shiny, let me know or check out the Waxing forum. Be sure to keep an eye out for Trixes as well (like mine), we pop up here and there.

Im a 03-04 Vibe fan but I think Matrix won this round because they stole the old front end of the Vibe

I'm considering a cargo cover and maybe a bra.I got a itty bitty paint chip up front already.I wish there were some mods I could make to the odometer screen.
