Handeling ideas

Post by Scootman! »

Hey everyone, I was wondering how much lowering my vibe and possibly adding a sway bar would effect my handeling. And how easy are these to install?

The handling is improved big time.No more body roll into turns. That's what I always hated about the Vibe.I installed my Tein S-techs and progress rear sway bar myself,I install everything I buy for the Vibe. So,it's not that hard.

The insatall: I don't have a lot of money to hand over to a mechanic but I do have some car knowledge. I really don't want to mess anything up and be without a car.

theres some good write ups on the install. I do all my own stuff and im not a mechanic just read the install guides on genvibe or matrixowners. Oh and for the springs you can rent the tools from places like autozone or checker, the tool is a spring compressor. Just be careful and read the warnings on the spring install.
