I'm so excited!! It looked like they weren't going to be able to find my Vibe, but good news came while I was already defecting to Toyota (build your own Matrix online when the call came)! I was so in love with my Vibe that I was almost in tears from the thought of not getting it (I don't have a car right now so waiting the 3-4 months would have been totally impossible). My Vibe is lava base, auto trans, moon & tunes, power package, ABS and 16 in alum wheels..... I don't know how our Canadian friends can stand the wait... I think I'm gonna go crazy these next two days!!!!!!!!Thanks for being here; I've learned soooo much reading all your posts the last few weeks! Now, I'm officially a member!!!Beverly

Welcome aboard Beverly! Before you know it, you will be driving your Vibe soon! Be lucky you only had to wait 2 days.. as you said, some people have been waiting for months.Did you get the two-tone or monotone style?

Hi guys! Thanks for the friendly welcome!Mine is two-tone; I think the lava really *pops* against the cladding. I'm learning to like the monotone with it, too. The dealer just called with the VIN -- it'll be there in a half an hour!!!! My sales guy is going to look it over and give me a call in the morning, to give me the go-ahead... I couldn't access this site all afternoon and it was killing me! Noone understands just how much I love my Vibe like you guys understand!!!Beverly

We understand your love.. that's why were are always here too!! You are a welcomed edition.I test drove a Lava Two-Tone Vibe initially.. I do agree it was very sharp. The board was down today unfortunately.. but gladly it is back up!! (see here: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=896)
Congrats! I agree, the Lava color is sweet. That was my second choice because the '93 Sunbird I replaced was the exact same color. Since my other two cars were silver, I wanted the Vibe to be silver also.
welcome beverly and congrats. Everyone here is great, some of the guys truly know what they are talking about so if you have any mechanical questions they'll know. It is nice to see another vibe girl here though. cheers your canadian friend
Thanks Jesse! The good news is that my beautiful bright red Vibe is out in my garage tonight!! Unfortunately, I had to drive it home during a MAJOR downpour/lightening/thunderstorm in the DARK so I couldn't arouse the appropriate *envy* from my neighbors! I can't wait to show it off!!Jesse- As a native Michigander, I've always felt myself to be an honorary Canadian, and just recently returned from a wonderful trip to Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto, three cities I used to visit every year. What a great trip - wish I'd had my Vibe then!
