I have had this car for about a year now. When I bought it new the dealership had installed the sport package on but the pieces were black. It just looked very wrong and I removed the pieces as soon as I got home. Well a year later I got around to having the pieces painted. The problem was the newly painted pieces would have to be mounted the poorly factory painted monotone body mouldings. The orginal body moldings are a duller finish than the sheetmetal. I could not stand to have the sport package installed on the duller body molding. I had the body shop paint the molding for the perfect match. I also had bought the rear spoilers about a year ago on Ebay. They were just primer gray and needed painting. One thing that bugged me about all the Vibes I saw with spoilers was the body colored spoiler beside the black and silver luggage rails. To me that just look wrong too. I had the body shop also paint all the pieces of the luggage rack after I disassembled all the pieces. While I was at it, I installed an 8 parking sensor system and had the sensors painted to match. yea i love the roof rack i think i might jsut do that. i was thinking of painting it when i painted my int. trim now ill have to do that once it warms back up.Nice looking Vibe all around.
