Okay folks...what did(do) you like least about your GoodYears. I suspect that what you liked least is what you want to avoid on your next set. Remember as tires wear...they become less satisfying. So you may need to think of when you had fewer miles on. We won't get into the Continentals...that's old news.

I voted lack of traction in the wet.Not enough snow around here to complain about traction in that, but we get lots of Rain. This summer was great (next to no rain), but it started raining yesterday, and now I have no Traction! Id be nice to get some rims\tires at tax time, but we'll see.The road noise isn't too bad, compaired to my last two cars.

We only have 3K miles on our Vibe but I like the RS-A's they ride better than our Malibu with BFG TA'sI don't see them as a high millage tire with a treadwear of 260
I voted for the "Harsh" ride. Also, the "H" Speed Rating. Hmmm...."H" speed rating......Harsh Ride.......Coincidence??? But I digress. Why do we need such a High Performance tire? By WE, I mean the stock, non-modified, Grandpa Lane (Hey, I resemble that remark), Vibe owner/drivers. The biggest gripe I have was when I went to Costco to by Snow Tires and they would not sell me a "Q" Speed Rated Snow Tire because the manufacturer recommends an "H" or better Hi-Performance Snow Tire. Who the #$%@ travels over 100 mph in a Vibe with Snow Tires bolted to the axles???!!!

What is really strange is that I recently got to drive a CTS, which also has RS-A tires. None of these problems are present on the CTS. Makes me wonder how much is the tire and how much is the car.

if mine were rotated properly before i bought the car they would of been fine. They didnt do fantastic in snow, but hey they arent a "snow" tire. I didnt think they were that bad, worked well in the rain at high speeds as well as dry roads at high speed. well high speed for a vibe. I still have 2 of them on the rims at 72k miles! but they need to get replaced. I used all 4 for maybe 50k miles then bought 2 new tires for the front.
i actually hate the traction period, rain, snow, or dry..they're garbage and should be banned from passanger vehiclesi havent had them to long to go any further( treadlife) but cornering in these kinda scare me sometimes
the tread life of the RS-A are rated aprox. 30K miles.Mine now have 37K miles on them and have about 4-5/32nds tread left. The wet traction is deplorable.I'm waiting for the government stim. check to arrive so i can go get a set of TrippleTreads.
yeah, i hate my RSA's. they slip when it's slightly wet. just going to wait 2 months and i'm hoping to try and find some good all weathers. maybe going with some goodyears or whatever i find has good ratings on the forum.the think i hate most about my RSA's:they exist. at least i didn't have the car when the continentals were on it.
RS-A FTWI loved them, had them for 36k and still had tons of traction.I probably drive harder than most of you,you guys must not have been rotating them or checking tire pressure. They don't last long because they are a softer tire.

Can't say I don't like'm yet. They are still round. Fairly quiet. Didn't use them in snow, other than testing on the driveway... yup, not a snow tire... but ok. Have them set at 40psi front and 38 rear now and haven't even leaked air. Wear is fine, so far, with a whole 201 miles on them.
