If it is a close race between a few members near the end, the delayed votes can tip the scales for a winning contender.

My vote is for Satur9. And does anyone think that maybe we should limit the nominees to like 5 or 6. Cuz this time we're probably gonna get a fair amount of people that have 2 or 3 votes and each are just kinda out of the running due to the spread of voting.just an idea

that would make it more fun, I think but that would exclude people (nominators) that miss the nomination early.

but what would happen if a lot of people wanted to pick someone but that name didnt come up in the random pick. would they then not vote. or just vote for some one else?

All nominees should be able to be voted for, not just a few randomly selected ones. No matter if there are only 2 or 20. That is what VOTM is all about.
