Which Vibe Parts/Systems are Toyota and Which are GM?

I know the Vibe engine and transmission are Toyota. Does anyone know which major parts/systems are GM vs. Toyota. If it varies by model year, I am interested in 2006. Thx.

well the interior wa designed by gm. but as for which are which im not sure.. GM sells all the parts for the vibe, but they are cheaper at toyota dealership. the only gm only parts i know of are the external body pieces as thats really the only diff between the trix and vibe.

The Radio stuff is GM-sourced. The cabin climate control system is GM-sourced in the Vibe and Toyota-sourced in the Matrix (hence why cabin air filters aren't compatible between the two).As far as I know, all the other major systems are Toyota.The interior vents are from the GM parts bin, but most of the controls are Toyota.

Are you just generally curious about which company manufactures the individual components, or is it a matter of which parts off a matrix will fit on your vibe?

although, pontiac styling changed from 04-05 so it depends if you like that big rounded look...... also the trix has more aftermarket options for external apperance.

Hey there Fort Wayner, I'm in Roanoke.the mechanical parts, IE engine, trans exhaust ect..are all toyota. body and interior is GM design.Northvibe: thats Half-breed. *singing* thats all I ever hear, half breed....

Pretty sure the dash gauges are toyota. They are very celica.
