yeah, that best western is gone, and a new target is going in its place.so except for the holiday inn express, the next closest hotel is at least 6 miles away.

I figured someone from the area would chime in with an update. The Holiday Inn Express stands as official, and albeit a little more $ than the former Best Western, it is definitely an upgrade. Otherwise, anyone is free to choose another hotel. We'll probably hang out that evening somewhere, no fixed place yet.

Minor updatesIt looks like some GM team members will be present at the rally, however I'm not sure which "area" of the company they will be coming from. It does not look like any Vibe show cars will be present this year, unless they surprise us.GM will be offering some accessories to us to raffle off during the day.Confirm your attendance in this thread and let us know you're coming!

Still going here for sure. I just spoke with Joseph Pontiac and there should be hot dogs, chips and soda for us. I let them know that we are thrilled that they are providing refreshments for us. There is also talk of going over to Joe & Lewie's afterwards again. And maybe more after that! We'll see!

Well it's all said and done. Low turnout but the great weather, tons of free Vibe accessories, and great people made it a great meet anyway! Look for my pics and more soon.

That car had a lot of acceleration! The cool part was that everyone got a chance to test drive it because of the number of people there. Very cool! It was a great time although we didn't have as many people as we though we would. I would like to thank Joseph Pontiac for hosting it and I would also like to thank Nick and (removed) for their parts in arranging this meet.We had a good time looking for a...location after we ate. All in all, it was another great meet. We will be having it again next year. In the mean time, everyone support our Ohio Rally! Hope to see you there!

Great time again this year and the weather was awesome! It wasn't 105 like it has been the last few years, there was even a cool breeze and the shade trees in the dealer parking lot were a little bigger this year as well. Too bad there was a low turnout, but those who made it had a really good time... and there was FREE STUFF! (with the low turnout, everyone got something and some people even got two free items)Quote, originally posted by Triton »That car had a lot of acceleration! Too bad the turnout was so low, I'll have to find a way to come next yearThe outcome of last year's meet made me write off this year's meet frm the get-go, quite frankly I didn't think it was worth the time, money, and effort to drive 8+ hours to get there last year. All we got was a GTR that had a couple years of dust piled up on it and the guys at the dealer pointed to the direction of the soda machine, that's about it. Then, I see this year GM actually did something cool and brought this V8-powered mystery vizzle and gave people free stuff???... Blah! Kinda sucks that I missed all of that, if I would have known the meet would have been worth going to, I may have put in a tiny bit of effort to get there this year. But there's always Columbus, I'll definitely be there.
