The CAI was/is a good mod. Lots of bang for the buck IMO. Added one to my Base Auto last year and have loved it ever since. Enjoy your new ride. P/S. The folks here are an invaluable source of knowledge/info.

Since you are short on funds I would use the one that comes with the kit. Just make sure you oil it before use because Cosmo's filters do not come pre-oiled. You can use a K&N Filter Cleaning & Oiling kit ($15) from any auto parts store. Then you can save up for a K&N Cone Filter to buy at a later date. They are about $60 or so.

Your welcome, guys! Make sure you don't over saturate the filter or you will be needing to clean your MAF sensor soon after from the oil build-up. Lightly oil the filter so that the entire filter has been covered then let it sit overnight to ensure it has soaked in properly and any excess has run off then put 'er in and enjoy your new hot rod!

The air conditioning tube insulator is a good cheap mod, specially for the summer coming up. throttle body spacer and the strut tower bar, are all under 50 bucks!

TB Spacer doesn't work on the '05+ Base Vibes because of the DBW.

oh yea, thanks bluecrush I totally forgot DBW is killin me the grafxwerks are awesome! I have all of my pontiac symbols in carbon fiber overlay (steering wheel, all rims, back and front), I have the 3rd brake light over lay that says VIBE. I also have the red outs for the blinker part on the taillights. I think you can also make your own ground kit for under 50. I need to make a list for my self aswell!!
