Front Passenger Seat Won't Fold Down

We bough't our 2004 Base Vibe 22 AU 04,it has moon package, power group,17''wheels and ABS brakes but no levers on either side of passenger seat allowing it to fold down. There are covers over the area where the levers should be, why is this,was it a oversite at the factory?

Odd. Is the table-tray thing on the back of the seat? Maybe you've got a driver's seat in place of your passenger seat.

The levers are not on the direct sides of the seat, rather where the seatback and seat intersect.I've attached a picture of the lever seen while sitting in the back seat.Also, looks like your first post. Welcome to GenVibe! (another fellow Ohio member as well!)

Nick, is that information is the owners manual?

Well, I assumed that since it was mentioned that there were no levers on either side, this person had read the owners manual and knew where the levers should be since they knew there were two. Could be wrong though.

Thanks so much for the info, we had installed seat covers and they were covered from view. THIS IS OUR 2nd DAY WITH THIS CAR.THanks again
