9/3 incentives ??

Post by Thewolf »

Right now the 0% financing is on 2003 Vibes only. I'm having a hard time finding any 03's on the lot that have what we want (GT, moon/tunes, painted trim, power stuff, side airbags, salsa).Anyone have an educated guess on whether they'll offer the 0% financing on the 04's any time soon?Thanks!/Curt

Hi Curt,I doubt they will have the 0% before the end of next summer for the 2004s. Try your best to find a 2003 with your options or ask the dealer I guess if they can be installed after you purchase one.Good luck and keep us posted, and welcome to GenVibe!!

I bet if anyone does know what the incentives will change to in September, they won;t say, because if the word got out that the incentives will get a lot better in september, then sales would suck for the rest of August.Welcome to Genvibe!

Unless sales pick up, my guess is that the 0% will apply to the 2004's as soon as most of the 2003's are gone. On $15,000, 1.9% apr for 5 years is less than $800 in interest. That about $13 a month. In many cases you are better off taking the rebate and financing through your credit union. Got to run the numbers!I am sure that people here are tried of me bragging about my luck in getting a $18,690 MSRP '03 Vibe for $13,631 after $4,003 rebates and $1,056 discount. I didn't really need a new car but those numbers were just too good to pass up. While I only had a rebate balance of about $550 on my GM Master Card, GM increased it to $2,003 if I bought a new GM vehicle by 1/30/03. That might repeat in '04 if sales are still slow but next time they might be smart enough to exclude VIBES. However, GM owed it to me for that lemon Buick they sold me in 1977.

jake75 - $13,631? Not a bad deal. I got a pretty good deal too. My GT had an MSRP of $21,470. I got it for (drum roll please) $11,244 without paying one cent out of my pocket, and that includes tax, title, and license. Thewolf - Good luck finding a GT with side airbags. My salesman said a lot of dealerships won't order Vibe GT's with side airbags because it pushes the price over $22000 and most people opt for a Grand Am GT at that point. You never know though, you might find one somewhere just because of that.

Nervous_dog: No question, you da man - doubt anyone can beat that discount. Would be interested in details of when and how you did it. No fair if you had "pictures" of the sales manager with a goat!!!!
