Does it stand for something or is it just there to specify the model?

Intelligent Variable Valve Timing.VVTL-i - Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and LiftI forget what VTEC is on hondas.. probably Variable Timing Electric Control or something..

And it looks much better on the engine cover than just old vtec..
