I'm having a girl.... And she is being named after her great grandmother--Ella Elizabeth... Which that seems kind of simple considering that my husband;s other two daughters have names that are 8 letters long each, but at least Ella will be able to spell her name before she gets to kindergarten... j/k--the other two spelled theirs just fine. BUt I wanted to name her after someone that has impacted my life....my grandmother was the natural choice....

And I'm sad about 6K miles. Guess I'll be a basket case at 100k.

Thanks for being one of the leaders in mileage. What maintenance have you done? I have had mine 30 months, and only have 76k miles. Things can get real busy being a parent.

Wow, 104K! That's great. That really does seem to be the norm for Toyota engines (despite CP's experience). I'd guess you've got the top mileage here.Hmmm...may a mileage thread is in order...

There had been a mileage thread previously. Savoy had many more miles way back in February.

I have not had to do much to keep the vibe going strong....The paint has held up well. I hit a deer about a year ago...and that paint didn't do so well, but it has been fixed and still looks great. I just change the oil about every 4-5000 miles, change the air filter every other time I change the oil, and rotate the tires everytime I change the oil.I've had the tranny flushed, new brakes once....and I think that's it. oh--new tires 3 times.....and that's about it, new wiper blades 3 times....and that is absolutely it. This has been the best car ever!!!!!! ....knock on wood.....I'm sure the resale value sucks, so I am going to drive it until the tires fall off.

Hey, good to see you and glad to hear you are doing well and that your Vibe is cooking along!!!Quote, originally posted by shenandoah24 »new brakes once....I can so totally believe you have only had to replace your brakes once in all of the miles.I took my car in last week for an oil change and asked them to check the brakes for me, they were a little noisy when I put them on and was turning the wheels. In the past, I have had to replace my brakes about every 25-30K miles. So, I figured, I am coming up on 30K, it was time. I can't tell you how shocked I was to learn that after ~2.33 years, I still have 90% brakes on the front and 85% on the back. They cleaned my brakes because they had dirt on them and sent me on my happy way. I love my car and like you, am planning on driving it until it falls apart. Anyhow, so glad to see you out here again!!!!
