The land of salsa twotones

We'll i'm in the big old city of san francisco for two weeks while my wife is recovering from surgery (the best doc for her type of operation is here) and i keep seeing salsa twotones (and monotones too) all over the place! saw a brand new one tonight as i headed back to the hotel from the hospital. 5th one in 4 days. oh, and i'm stuck driving a gutless wonder, a buick rendzevous what i wouldn't give for my vibe right now!YA i know i wrote lava, but meant salsa, sheesh. not getting enough sleep since the wife's surgery i guess.

Very strange that they are attracted to that one color. I don't think I've ever witnessed that phenomenon... Sounds interesting! If you get to talk to one of the owners, ask them why the heck they didn't go for a different, more unique color. I guess it's cool though that you're seeing Vibes at all, they still are few and far between here to this day.Hope the Mrs. is doing fine, and that you can get some sleep.

The majority of Vibes I see here are Salsa, next is Moonstone. It is funny how in differnt areas certain colors dominate.

UPDATE: well for all 8 days in san francisco, i saw a salsa vibe each day. i wonder if i was seeing a couple of cars multiple times?i also saw other colors (abyss, frosty), and i figure the vibes (and matrixes) are popular here due to the limited parking space "size".i watched people parallel parking in places i couldn't believe!Thanks CP, my wife is doing great, and i'm getting almost enough sleep now We're down near San Jose at a surgerical recovery house and will head home on the 9th. Can't wait to get back in my vibe, esp after hearing that my daughter has been using it to deliver pizzas with it!
