July 2005 Vibe of the Month: Nominations

Post by millster »

July 2005 Vibe of the Month Nominations are now open.Unfortunately, I didn't pay enough attention to how things were done in the past, so this month will be a bit unusual. Hopefully I'll get it straight for next month and get things back to normal. As usual, respond to this post with your nomination. The nomination period will close on July 15th at which time the voting poll will open. Alright. That's all from me. Nominate away.

I nominate Faultline. He was the turbo vibe pioneer, the first to add foced induction to a Vibe. Still running it without problems, demonstrating the 1ZZ engine can handle a turbo reliably.

Since this is probably my last opportunity to do so before Emily the Vibe is no more ...I nominate ragingfish. You guys have to admit that he's very devoted to doing lots of cool stuff to his car, the pictures from the Michigan meet pretty much proved that! And he's just an awesome guy too. Show some love to the man who showed all of GenVibe how to remove its dashes, front fascias, and headliners...vote for Mike!

I vote for Mike too. I think a lot of that stuff he did himself. That adds a lot of points in my book.

Thanks guys, but I'm going to nominate Bluecrush. I think his '05 is setting the example and coming along very nicely with all the things he has done to it thus far.

Can I nominate 2 people? After a friendly reminder I have decided that there is someone else that definitely needs to be on here and that is SoCalVibe. He has been sinking a ton of $$$$ into his Vibe as well and it is looking and sounding pretty bad-@$$! (I just wish I could get up there to see it! )

Guys, this is a nominations thread, not a voting thread...no need to nominate someone more than once Anyway, I feel SoCalVibe (Mark) deserves a nomination...just check out his cardomain site to see all that he's done to his SC'd AT Vibe:http://www.cardomain.com/id/socalvibe

The first post of the thread explains that Rebbierae. This is just the nomination period. I'll close the nomination thread tonight and open the voting poll. The voting will close at the end of the month and the nominations for August will open in a week or two while the voting for July is ongoing.
