Just to let everyone know..... I will definitely be there!!! The vide goes in at 11am for an oil change and tire rotation/balancing. The only odd part is that they said it will take an hour just to do the tire part.... A buddy of mine used to work in a tire shop.... he do a new tire install in about 20 minutes or so. That was mounting, balancing and all..... Oh well. More time to hang out with everyone. Just hope they get done before the shop closes at 1pm....and I am VERY sad to hear Mike can't make it, but you are right, work comes first. Gotta pay the bills somehow.... See ya all on Saturday....

Been working a lot, just checked my calendar and saw the meet was this Saturday. Sweet, finally! The Wife™ and I will probably leave around 9 am.Anyone else from the Cleveland/Elyria/Lorain area taking I-71 south?
I'm sorry guys, but I don't have a day off until the 29th so I guess that means I can't make it. *sighs* shucks, i was really looking forward to going too. Oh well, next time
I'd like to see those that are close enough to the meet come even if you are a little late. Maybe some of you that are working can come after work for a little while or even meet up afterwords? I have reservations for a suite at the Marriott. So anyone that is coming on Friday night and would like to meet up in our room, plug into Internet, have a few drinks & chat, let me know. There should be plenty of room.
And as the crap rolls down hill, I am submerged. As much as I am looking forward to the meet, I am going to have to miss it, I have too much wedding stuff to do, I have to meet with the DJ, organist, vocalist, and banquet facility this weekend, tomorrow and saturday. And I can't postpone it because this is stuff that should have been done a few weeks ago. I IM'd TNpartsguy about the parts I requested, I feel like a turd for that. Just know that I will be wishing I was in Columbus while stuck talking about centerpieces and the DJ not playing the Electric Slide. I'm sorry for realizing this so late, but I was optimistic that I would be able to squeeze it in, but I am buried under a landslide of things to do with not enough time to do them.
A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory.
Unfortunately, due to sudden mechanical trouble with Sir Knocksalot, I am unable to bring my Vibe to the meet. This makes the second meet in a row that Miss Marcie will have to represent the Panic fleet because my car is a piece of crap.

NP, Mr Poopypants. I'm just dissappointed that I won't get to meet you. Or Mike (RagingFish) or Em (VibeRaider). We can do a paypal deal on the parts later, and I can ship them to you free, since they are all small and light.

I'll think I'll bring my camcorder. Could probably tape a couple of interesting things. If we can find a large empty parking lot that is.1/4 mile base vs. gt, manual vs. automatic or something like that.I was originally thinking of comparing my cheap eurodezigns HID vs. stock bulbs (or other aftermarket bulbs), but if it's between 11 and 5 it won't be dark enough for that.Maybe something funny. Ya know, like let's all yank out our cabin air filters and compare those.Play a song with the horns (that would probably sound rather monotonous). Or perhaps just record everyone introducing themselves and their car.my cam would probably be "okay" for that, but I don't have a tripod or steadycam. With lots of footage, some creative editing and a good selection of sound tracks we could probably come up with something memorable.BT - MadskillzPaul Van Dyk - Nothing But YouOr some composition of some prodigy tracks -- Skyline, Poison, Breathe, Smack my ***** up, Firestarter, etc.Need For Speed sound track, BT - Kimosabe, Lil Jon - Get Low, Overseer - Supermoves, etc.Well, I don't wanna get too ambitious. Always get side-tracked by stuff like this, heh.</ramble>
HEY ALL!!Looking forward to the meet tomorrow and glad to see people are arriving in town without troubles.Poopy: Sorry you can't make it. Was looking forward to meeting you .<hijack> Congrats on the wedding and good luck to you both!! You will get through all the stess though. Just had my 3rd anniversary. It is hard to think of all the work you go through for one day. Just try to step back from the stress and enjoy it. It goes WAY too fast!!</hijack>Anyway, back on topic.... hehe... Sorry to hear about the others that won't be there too ... maybe next year.....

Quote, originally posted by Merzbow »I wish I could go...I'm with ya on that one... I was (holding up a finger and a thumb) this close to jumping in the car and going. But I got a pile of work to get done and no extra money for a place to sleep I can't wait to see the photogs work!
No rain at the meet It rained a few hours ago, stormed actually, but no rain today, so that was good. Awesome meet though! We had a great time...can't wait for the next one now...
Great time it was good to see everyone again along with some new faces as well. I thought I would share a MPG story with you also. On my trip home I got 407 miles on one tank and it took 11 gallons to fill. Now do the math, smile and then say "damn I love my Vibe when gas is at an all time high"
