Hello all, I'm a new member. Been watching the site for a while, don't know why I waited so long to join. I have a 2004 base Vibe, with the usual equipment and some mods. I had the windows tinted and an alarm and remote starter added. Then recently, my favorite, I had the Supercharger installed.

Also I don't want damronjr to be mad but I'm the one who out-bid him on E-bay. My buddy was already a member so he was bidding for me.

Bear with me I type slow. The guy who sold it was missing the thermostat and after contacting him he wasn't much help. Waiting for the part delayed it about a week but otherwise it was smooth.

Oh well, I was looking at that other one on there right now but it's an incomplete set and apparently you can't get the individual parts without getting a whole new kit. You do suck, BTW, but congrats and I hope you enjoy MY SC! Maybe I'll get one someday.

I'll keep my eye out for you. Yeah I didn't know how the bidding worked my buddy typed in $1201. I had to pay $97 to ship and $100 for the thermostat and gasket if it makes you happier.

Kind of sucks since he said it was everything you needed to install it. Guess you can't complain for that price! How hard was the install? How different does it feel from the stock base?

I had the dealer install it for the warranty coverage but it looked pretty easy. It feels great, lots of torque, like having a V6

I tried contacting him but never got a response. Guess he did sell it.

He might work for the dealership in Tenn, the box had labels on it but they were marked over. Maybe he'll have another one. Also I wasn't sure how alike the Vibe and Matrix are, the thermostat was available at the Toyota dealer (for less)but no one could confirm they were the same until after I ordered mine. Also the machined finish surface had minor scratches but obviously didn't affect the install.

Apparently the guy who is selling the incomplete kit now is a dealer as well and needed the parts to fix another kit, hence the one he has now being incomplete. From what my guy said, he probably wrote it off as warranty and is selling the incomplete kit to make some extra $$ on the side. I don't want to label him, but this is what the parts guy here thinks.

I even contacted TRD, if you can read the part numbers from the kit they can tell you if its the same as theirs (think so) and you can probably get parts there, also several sites sell parts cheaper than both dealers. Crap, gotta go I was supposed to meet my wife like 45 minutes ago. She was great about buying the SC even though we didn't have the money so gotta stay on her good side. Just wanted to intro myself, I'll check back later.
