I have been in contact with Joseph Pontiac and I haven't received a call back yet saying it is ok. I am going to be calling them again today around to try and get the thumbs up. I will let post as soon as I find out.

I have been contacted by Joseph Pontiac and they are trying to confirm the date with Jeff Strauser from GM. I should hear back from Joseph very soon to let me know more information. June 25th is going to work for the dealership though.

Let's see, if I was to drive 17 hours a day from 6-11 for 2 days, then I would have to leave the morning of the 23rd to get there the night of the 25th. Something tells me my wife 1) won't want to go, 2) won't let me go alone, and 3) wouldn't let me go anyways. As much as I would LOVE to go, I know it won't happen. Maybe my wife will leave me by then for some odd reason (wouldn't be the strangest thing to happen) and then I could do whatever the hell I want! Don't count on that either. Oh well, I hope everyone who does go has a great time and takes lots of pictures for those of us who can't be there!

Especially after I get Chris' body kit, the silver CF hood, maybe RKSport's rear bumper and top spoiler by then, and all that. It's possible that I may even have a SC by then too! I would def want to have the Vibe there with me. It just wouldn't be the same without it. Maybe if Christian or any other guys from the area were going we could all caravan that would be cool. Still don't think the wife would approve my chit.

I have got confirmation from Joseph Pontiac that June 25th will be the day of our Michigan Rally. I will be posting another thread later today that will include maps, phone numbers and contact information for anyone that has any questions. I just need to talk with my contact at Joseph Pontiac one more time to get any other details that will need to be shared.

I have confirmation from Joseph Pontiac that Jeff Strausser WILL be there. So we know that there will be at least one GM rep there. I'm sure Jeff will bring others with him like he did last year.

Just an FYI for everybody, I just made reservations at the Fenton Best Western for the Friday and Saturday nite. The receptionist at Joseph Pontiac said it is fairly close to the dealership and the rooms were $74.80 per nite, single occupancy, AAA discount. Did anyone that went last year stay here? Is it a decent place to stay? or ?

They had wireless internet that was not working quite yet, but yes, it is very close to the dealership. I was personally holding off on reserving a room until I see where others are staying so we could all stay near or at the same place that evening. Last year, everyone else stayed about ~30 minutes away.I'd hold onto the reservation until you hear otherwise - there is no penalty to cancel before that date so no worries there. We'll probably start a lodging/"where are you staying" thread soon to get that aspect coordinated.

I just wanted to let everyone know that if more than one person is attending, your number in blue below your post will only reflect as one. The purpose of the number is so that I can inform the dealership how much room we will need for cars. When the date draws closer, we will need to get an approximate of how many people will be there as well. We will have a separate list for that. As of right now, it looks as though the meet will be bigger yet again. Thanks everyone for your support!

If I have my way, my 68 year old buddy will also be there with his '04 Vibe, so he should be tentatively added to the list. It's like pulling teeth, though, so it's absolutely, positively tentative with his showing up. Or maybe I'll be there with My Baby, instead of him. Who knows? But add another "tentative" or two.
