Moon&Tunes Cargo Floormat

Post by ShadowRuleZ »

Alright, here's what I found out. I went into the dealership to ask for the part number for this mat, and they gave me this number: 17800790I went to GM Parts Direct and typed in the number, came up fine, but with no pictures.. Went to the accessories section, and this is what it read:12498133 - Cargo Area Mat Features the Vibe Logo http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cf ... 3317800790 - Floor Mats, Custom Carpet Front set, Black w/ Vibe Logohttp://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm?singl ... r=17800790 &partnumber=17800790So at first I was like crap, this is the wrong number. However, floor mat sets are 70.00 for a set, and the rear cargo mats are 69.00. The part number had a 69.00 price. For some further research (thanks to the guy in the official part section that posted a link), I went to the 05 Vibe Accessories guide and started poking around there.Under Floor Mats - Custom Carpet, I found this information:http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessories ... arpetFloor Mat - Cargo Carpet - Black with Vibe Logo 12498133 $69.00 Molded Cargo Area Mat - Carpet, With Vibe Logo, Black 17800790 $69.00 Under Floor Mats - Custom Carpet (Replacement), I foundhttp://www.gmgoodwrench.com/accessoriesjsp/acc ... ementFloor Mat - Front & Rear Carpet - Gray with Vibe Logo 88972733 $70.00 Floor Mat - Front & Rear Carpet - Gray with Vibe Logo 88972734 $70.00 So I figure the part number must have been right, and the descriptions are just confusing or got mixed up somewhere. I placed an order for 17800790, so I'll let you guys know what it is when it actually comes in.

Sounds pretty confusing! I bought #12498133 from GMPartsDirect back in June and sure enough, I ended up with the cargo mat I was looking for... It's the standard ol' cargo area mat, grey carpet with embroidered Vibe logo. Strange how the pic on the GM site shows the four floor mats... But I *think* you did fine with what you ordered, since after all my mat is listed there as well, on the same page as the pic of the floor mats. Let us know how it turns out!

Does your 05 with M&T have the subwoofer, and is that why you need a "unique" rear floor mat?

Yeah, it has the sub in the back so the normal mat wouldn't work.Got the confirmation e-mail today from gmpartsdirect, says it's a special order non-returnable part... Last time I ordered from them it just showed up one day, they never sent me an e-mail saying it shipped or anything.

Received it yesterday, it is specifically cut to go around the sub. Looks and fits good, although it's a little bit lighter weight than what I was expecting.
