I want to find a place to buy rare cars like Nissans....Silvias, eight-six's, skylines, Stageas...ogod luck withthe stageas lol. I cant find any o fthem anywhere!!!
Thanks , and yea I'm preparing incase insurance raises and I have to sell teh Vibe I'll be getting an old 240sx or maybe an eight-six or silvia. Those can't charge too much insurance for a car that costs $2000. If I buy my ownc ar I'll be buying something I want, not a stupid @$$ '93 Grand Am (removed)!!! hahahahaha. No worries though the Vibe's not goin anywhere.

so you're saying a 1986 Toyota ae86 is gonna have high insurance?!?!? That's bull. I f*cking hate insurance companies with all my heart. The Vibe is a wagon with aan auto trans and 5 doors why the h*ll is the insurance $2500? I have a perfectly clean record too other than the curfew ticket, which has absolutely nothing to do with cars...What's the reason for having insurance if I can't even tell them when I get into an accident for fear that they will increase rates?!?!?! It's a bunch of b/s. If I get rich ill buy a Ferrari F-50 and keep totaling it until I make them go bankrupt, and yes they have to insure me because by law your car must be insured I'll have them bankrupt before I pay my first 6 months payment (removed)! j/k then everyone else's payments would go up. I'll start my own insurance company how baout that?ANYWAYS....the reason I want to find these cars is because I can never seem to find any for sale anywhere else and it woud be nice to see how much they run jsut incase I ever want to buy one at some point in my life

Get used to it.

Jeez, kids are just sh*t outa luck arn't they lol. How much of an insurance drop could I expect when I'm 25 if I still ahve a clean record? I'm preobably gonna keep buying Vibe's after this one is in-capacitated(sp?)Do you think insurance on a bike would be alot? I heard bike insurance is cheap.

paul, you are in a high risk category. not only are you a single male 16-24, but you also have to deal w/ the large number of cars driven in your area. the more you drive, the more likely you are to get in an accident. it's a formula really.as you get older the rates will go down unless you keep getting tickets. even though your neons have nothing to do with traffic tickets, insurance co's see it and know that if you have illegal neons, you're more than likely not obeying other traffic laws. and your insurance co doesn't have to insure you. in fact there are some people that NO ONE will insure because of their driving record. then you are stuck w/ the crappy expensive (much much worse than what you have now) 2nd hand insurance like SR-25. my mom is an insurance producer and underwrites policies everyday. you just need to be more careful, especially w/ those neons of yours. they keep getting you into trouble and it's no wonder your insurance is sky high!
No, the insurance was $2500 before I even got my liscense or my permit. That was their wuote on me and my mom and with me as a secondary driver. This was before I even had my liscense. I get $500 discount for my good grades so it's still at $2500 about.Anyways, how much of a drop could I expect by age 25 witha clean record?
well you might actually get a drop at 21 too.when i first started driving i paid $160/mo for my insurance but that's w/ USAA and the discount is much greater. w/ good student and drivers ed discount included. when i turned 21 it dropped to about $125/mo and when i got married at 22, it went to $120 for both our cars fully insured. then 2 yrs later when i got divorced and was single again at 24, it stayed at $120/mo but i also had a speeding ticket 2 yrs prior. when i turned 25, it went back down to $108/mo which is what i pay now w/ one speeding ticket. my mom works for all state and when we looked to see what kind of rates i'd get thru them it was like $150/mo still. is that $2500 annually or every 6 months? i hope it's yearly! ouch! and that's just for you or for both your mom and you?

I am almost 26. I don't know about motorcycle insurance, but again, how are you going to afford a bike? Just wondering.

I'm one step ahead of you Russ lol. I'm subscribed to DuPont Registry already Bike payments are a whole lot cheaper than car payments so it wont be too hard to afford a bike...by then I should be in college with some sort of an engineering job (crosses Fingers) I've wanted a Kawasaki Ninja since I was 6 years old so I'm going to achieve at least one of my dreams by the time I reach college if I'm lucky. I need atleast $99 a month and that should be no problem. My friend and I are going in on one of those buddy-pack things with two bikes and the gear blah blah blah.Let's talk about exotic Japanese cars instea dof depressiong things like insurance SO has anyone heard of the Nissan Stagea?
