Vibe of the Month.

Post by savedbyzero »

What ya say? Thought it would be cool to start a friendly little poll/contest for Vibe of the Month. Maybe we can get it stickied and obviously do it again each month! If you've got another entry into the poll, make sure you post with a pic to be sure everyone knows the ride you're talking about!Closed - WINNER:Triton's Neptune Vibe with Mille Miglia EV-R 18X8 and Nitto tires (53%, 54 votes)

Well, everyone else is being biased here, why not me? Thanks to all those who voted for me. I think the idea of a Vibe of the month is cool, I'm just now sure how the selection could be done. There are a lot of Vibes on this site that I really like...too many to name. Great job everyone! Also, the pic that was posted of my car had the decals on it that I have since removed. My signature pic is a little more up to date as far as that goes. I have the GM deflectors now instead of the Ventvisors. I also have the billet grilles that psychobroker has now as well. It looks a little different, but not too much. Man, I need to clean it up and get some new pics! Here is a little more recent pic:

I have to vote for Devlop's vibe, it fast as hell and very very clean looking. And as for throwing money at a car, he has but he's also done all the work himself including the turbo with the help from Rick (and I drank the beer ) He's got a lot of time into that car.Plus my car is his eVil tiWn so I have to vote for the family.

I was thinking of the "Vibe of the Month" to be just that. Vibe of the Month. I figure once you've been selected, you'll be out of the running for the next months, unless you do major modifications to your car.And honestly, I think voting for yourself is a little lame...I tried to lead by example and vote for Devlop instead of myself, but I guess that didn't work...I say we leave voting open for another week and declare a winner. Maybe we can get admin to add a link and write-up on front page about the winner/car.

Wow, is it just me or is this getting out of hand? This is Vibe of the MONTH, not all time best Vibe in the universe. I checked the calendar, it turns out there are twelve months. If someone doesn't win this month, there are always others. I like the idea of this. MO.com is doing the same and I think it would be cool to have a pic with a link of the mods and perhaps more pics on the home page of this site.Anyways, I just felt like venting, and perhaps we can all cool off about this and realize that it is nothing more than what it is, Vibe of the month.

See, I told you I could be a Genvibe God without getting 1,000 posts! I just got an idea to go front page! *All rise, in honor on me!*J/K! That's sounds awesome! I think the voting deal sounds good. Maybe a little standardized "interview/questionaire" can be drawn up to give more info on car/reasons behind mods/personal stuff, ya know. And I think we need to consider all things when nominating/voting on a vibe. Performance, interior, exterior, and who knows, hate to say it, but maybe a wrecked Vibe that saved someone's life because of the excellent safety features. So ya, there's some more brilliant thoughts from the brilliant mind of me. Make sure you write those down...
