What ya say? Thought it would be cool to start a friendly little poll/contest for Vibe of the Month. Maybe we can get it stickied and obviously do it again each month! If you've got another entry into the poll, make sure you post with a pic to be sure everyone knows the ride you're talking about!Closed - WINNER:Triton's Neptune Vibe with Mille Miglia EV-R 18X8 and Nitto tires (53%, 54 votes)

Your Vibe is sweet even with the cracks there Hope lol. I like it, lots of good driving memories in that car...and to all the dirty minds out there... take that how you wanna cause my lips are sealed otherwise!

thanks Hope Oh, and it's not just money I've put into my Vibe, but a helluva lot of time on projects and such. Ahem..."JDM" headlights, for example...that was a pain
oh ya! i hear you on those time consuming projects! took me all summer last year to finish installing the leather interior. now i'm gonna have to take out the passenger seat and replace the seatbelt bolt.
It shouldn't take to long just to remove the seat and get that bolt in. I'd help but I'm back in canada. I'd vote for you C man but I can only vote once.

Well, everyone else is being biased here, why not me? Thanks to all those who voted for me. I think the idea of a Vibe of the month is cool, I'm just now sure how the selection could be done. There are a lot of Vibes on this site that I really like...too many to name. Great job everyone! Also, the pic that was posted of my car had the decals on it that I have since removed. My signature pic is a little more up to date as far as that goes. I have the GM deflectors now instead of the Ventvisors. I also have the billet grilles that psychobroker has now as well. It looks a little different, but not too much. Man, I need to clean it up and get some new pics! Here is a little more recent pic:

I have to vote for Devlop's vibe, it fast as hell and very very clean looking. And as for throwing money at a car, he has but he's also done all the work himself including the turbo with the help from Rick (and I drank the beer ) He's got a lot of time into that car.Plus my car is his eVil tiWn so I have to vote for the family.

I entered Vibrator as a joke - didn't realize there actually was one here. Keep those votes coming in for Vibrator! Sorry, Honchos, but it seemed obvious to me that you were asking for it.Half the population loves it, so VOTE FOR VIBRATOR while you still can!
Wow talk about getting out of hand - we've got people wanting vibrator investigated for this thinking there was some kind of fix! And it was all a joke. Interesting.

I am a little confused is this "the best Vibe ever" or indeed "Vibe of the month"????????? ..because I want to vote for who did the best thing on their car, last month in may not the most tricked out car to date!!!! I mean , really, we all know we each have the best Vibe out there...how can we give too much love to anothers???...well???

I was thinking of the "Vibe of the Month" to be just that. Vibe of the Month. I figure once you've been selected, you'll be out of the running for the next months, unless you do major modifications to your car.And honestly, I think voting for yourself is a little lame...I tried to lead by example and vote for Devlop instead of myself, but I guess that didn't work...I say we leave voting open for another week and declare a winner. Maybe we can get admin to add a link and write-up on front page about the winner/car.

Considering no one else has voted for me, I really don't care

Wow, is it just me or is this getting out of hand? This is Vibe of the MONTH, not all time best Vibe in the universe. I checked the calendar, it turns out there are twelve months. If someone doesn't win this month, there are always others. I like the idea of this. MO.com is doing the same and I think it would be cool to have a pic with a link of the mods and perhaps more pics on the home page of this site.Anyways, I just felt like venting, and perhaps we can all cool off about this and realize that it is nothing more than what it is, Vibe of the month.
I agree with Devlop, this is a Vibe of the month, not the best ever. I like the idea about having one for the month and have voting for it the month before.

Hey, I haven't been here in a while and missed this. Well, I added myself to the list of options . Here is a new picture after I cleaned my Vibe a couple weeks ago for the first time in a couple months.

I figure once you've been selected, you'll be out of the running for the next months, unless you do major modifications to your car.I agree with that. General rule of thumb, if you win the popularity of votes and become "Vibe of the Month", then in most circumstances, you should be out of the running for the remaining months, unless major changes.Quote »I say we leave voting open for another week and declare a winner. Maybe we can get admin to add a link and write-up on front page about the winner/car.I don't see a problem devoting some space on the front page of GenVibe for the winner each month. To keep things straightened out, let this voting run until the end of the month and then assign that person the July Vibe of the Month and begin a new thread for August to run all through July.We can work out any other details as the next voting period begins. How does that sound?
See, I told you I could be a Genvibe God without getting 1,000 posts! I just got an idea to go front page! *All rise, in honor on me!*J/K! That's sounds awesome! I think the voting deal sounds good. Maybe a little standardized "interview/questionaire" can be drawn up to give more info on car/reasons behind mods/personal stuff, ya know. And I think we need to consider all things when nominating/voting on a vibe. Performance, interior, exterior, and who knows, hate to say it, but maybe a wrecked Vibe that saved someone's life because of the excellent safety features. So ya, there's some more brilliant thoughts from the brilliant mind of me. Make sure you write those down...
So does that mean that we could have a little genvibe calendar, next year. And we could get someone to photoshop some bikini girls onto the cars, and put them exotic locations. or not....
Quote, originally posted by savedbyzero »Who says we need photoshop! I know me a drunken both have some sexy little numbers new for summer that we can wear!Oh boy. Perhaps we'll just stick with the cars.
