Grafxwerks to the rescue...a question (edit)

Post by chaotic_amber »

After a week or two of me changing my mind back and forth, I just placed an order for some custom Grafxwerks decals, decided to go with the shield from my families coat of arms rather than my avatar pict. Now all I have to do is wait...I can be patient...no, really I can.Are they here yet? How about now?

Ok, the temp finally topped 60 degrees (15 celcius) as reccomended in the intall instructions. I went out on my lunch break armed with a roll of fishing line, some q-tips, alcohol and a lint free cloth. My Vibe is de-badged entirely and I have one of my custom decals installed.A question. I was as careful as possible and I still wound up with a few air bubbles under the decal. The instructions say that a few days in the sun will work those out. Is this good info or a pipe dream? Should I be out there worrying at them and trying to get them flattened out or will they really go away on their own?I'll be posting pictures soon, once i get the rest on and bring my camera with me to work.

let the decals bake in the sun... will evaporate the air... won't be completely perfect, but will be darn close. prob not noticeable to the naked eye.
