spending $$$$$ on the vib !!

ordered a k&n typhoon (polished) yesterday for $218.00, should be here in 2-3 weeks...thats the cheapest price i could find 'cause even surfing on the net the shipping to fbks, ak is a killer...we are talking $40 to $50 bucks here cause no one ships through the mail anymore !!! it goes on the rack tonite and a friend of mine that owns a muffler shop and i are going to discuss how to manufacture an exhaust that will fit under a awd vib....however i dont want the car to sound like its farting all the time or resonate the panels off of it so i'm thinking of going with a turbo muffler and a aftermarket resonator with a 2.25 pipe back from the cat......any suggestions from those of you who have already modified your exhaust systems are greatly appreciated since i am very familiar with american engines and such but these foreign systems are , well, foreign to me....i'm trying to see if the old adages of moving more air in and bad air out will give me back some hp missing from the regular vibes!!!

go with a flowmaster 60 series, nice mellow sound and not to buzzy at highway speeds.
