I hate the Yankees....Personally I don't think that they will win it all. The Cubs, Red Sox, and Astros have all "beef'd" up. I don't think the Yankees pitching will keep them in it. Kevin Brown will get hurt like he does every year and that will be it. Go Reds!

As a long-time Yankee fan, I have mixed feelings about this. I think A-Rod is a great acquisition, and we now finally have a long-term 3rd base solution. However, the Yankees tried this "all-star" team approach in the early 80s when we had Ricky Henderson, Dave Winfield, Don Mattingly, etc. and we STUNK.Lots of things I'd like to see before I claim that the Yanks are goin' all the way again:I'd like to see Jeter come back to form...I'ld like to see Matsui prove his worth....I'd like to see more 1st base time for Giambi...I'd like to know who we are going to put at 2nd base...I'd like to see the Houston Astros fail miserably this year for stealing two of our pitchers. The Yanks are the only team who can make it to the world series, lose, and be considered a failure.

I'm sorry, but I think Soriano has more upside. Of course, A-Rod's awesome..I'm still peeved that Anaheim swooped in and stole Vlad Guerrero away from my Dodgers. Chalk it up to dumba$$ ownership at the time. Hopefully the new owner will bring us back.

Number one, I hate the Yankees with evey ounce of my being. It especially tickled me when they lost to the Marlins last year in the WS. This will probably put them over the top, and they will win the WS this year. Who cares about bad pitching when you will score 8 runs every game. I guess it is nice to see a ball club get good talent and be successful evey year, and that is what makes the Yankees the most loved team and the most hated team all at the same time.Speaking as a Braves fan, I am really pissed of that the best offseason pickup we got this year was J D ****in' Drew!!! And we lost Javy Lopez, Gary Sheffield, and Greg Maddux (like I will miss his 6.00 ERA in the first two innings of every game.)
