I read through most of the six pages about the clutch going early and so forth. I have 17k on my GT and when I hit lift in fist gear the RPM gage shoots up like Im driving on a patch of ice. There is no longer that extra kick that there used to be. Im guessing this is the clutch but would like some reassurment so I know what to tell the dealership. Thanks all
sometimes if you dog it it will glaze over and drive like crap for a few days if it doesnt get better invest in a nice aftermarket clutch.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
Generally a marginal clutch will slip more in the higher gears, since more of the engine's torque is freed up from spinning up the rotating parts of the engine, plus you have more time to verify slippage by backing off the throttle a bit and seeing if the revs immediately drop.
