six disc changer availble with moon and tunes?

I would like to know what other dealers have told you (for 2004 vehicles). My dealer says that if I get the moon and tunes package, I cannot get the six disc changer.. makes no sense. I am not asking for a substitution for the 1-disc, Ill pay the additional cost.. why in the world pontiac would not put the six disc changer in the moon and tunes package (it has the premium sound system afterall) is beyond me.. maybe the six-disc changer will not work with six speakers?thanks

Your dealer is incorrect. The 6-disc in-dash changer (UC6) is available with the moon-and-toons package. What is not available with the moon-and-tunes package is the nav system with the 6-disc changer under the passenger seat (U1A).

Fear not! A quick check of eBay will get you the in-dash 6-disc unit for much less than from the factory. It's an easy install too. There are none out there now but keep checking (do searches for both Vibe and Matrix). To All,I just ordered a 2004 vibe, the six disc option is indeed available with the moon and tunes package.. now I just have to wait for 6-8 weeks.. hopefully some discounts come in that timeframe..

You can get a 6 disc radio and just put it in. Their was no problem doing it , if someone said you can do it their full of it. cause i took my 6 disc and put it in a friends base vibe.and sounded great.john
