I read in the other topic that we should start a head count, so here goes. This is very preliminary as we've still got a while for the planned date... but to get an idea of who's planning on showing up.I'll be there. Marked the calendar already1
Well we started to get a head count in the other thread, but maybe this post will help narrow it down. The meet location is not confirmed yet but we should have that by the middle of next week. Only post if you are a definate or a really strong maybe. If you cannot make it, that is fine, but we really want to get a count of how many are looking at attending. Thanks! As you all probably know, I will be there and I look forward to meeting everyone who comes! 2

Bill H.Eastpointe, Michigan2003 Pontiac Vibe (wheels/tires and tunes are the only mods so far...)2000 Corvette (Extra oomph thanks to Agostino Racing Engines. Hide the women and children, it's fast, loud and looking for trouble...)1970 Corvette (Classic top down cruising. When it's running...)
Does anyone know approximately how many people came to your most recent meet? There had been a thread on here with pics, but I can't find it anymore...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
This is not just a head count anymore. This is to confirm that you will be there. I need to let Josph Pontiac know by June 13th what the number of cars will be. That way they can make room for us. If you are confirming your attendance, please go to the thread below. Thanks! http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=4156

I expect to be there with My Baby. If not her, maybe my buddy will come along. (Better bring my Vibe along, too, huh?) My buddy has a million different cars and if he instead of My Baby shows up, maybe he'll bring one of those. Among others, he has a new Grand Prix, a 1972 Buick convertable, an Avanti and a 1934 or '36 Mercedes-Benz convertable. We'll see. Gotta say I'd rather show up with My Baby... not to mention my plain, old and stock Vibe.15
Remeber everyone, I have to let the dealership know by Friday June 13th how many people are coming. And please send your information to me about yourself. We are going to have forms made so everyone will be able to know who everyone else is. Thanks! http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=4156

I just called Joseph Pontiac and let them know that we will have 30 cars there. I estimated a little high, but who knows what might happen between now and the 28th. We may have more because of the supercharged Vibe being there!

If only Michigan wasn't so far away from Madison ...Mb I can pull a rabbit outta my hat, see what I can cook up for that weekend and possible joining in...
That would be very cool Geo! We have a couple from Illinois that are coming and a possiblity from New Jersey. We would love to have you! That sounds very cool as well, Speed. We are hoping to draw some attention to the Vibe. There may be others like yourself who are looking at a car that they can mod easily.

quote:We are checking out the Vibe scene as we are interested in the mods that are available. you might run into me out there. I work in Troy and Live in the Chesters...... I got a few mods on mine.....
quote:Rumor has it Pontiac will have their new supercharger there along with a handful of engineers. You heard correctly, a supercharged Vibe will be there. However, as it stands right now, no one from Vibe marketing or engineering will be there.
Ok. I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to be there unless something big happens to me (accident, death, tidal wave)! So I think that makes me #20 or so... WOOO! ^_^20

I'm trying to get a friend of mine who is on the Marketing team for the Vibe to show up. I also think a co-worker here who is ChuckJ on Genvibe will be coming to the meet. I told him and he sounded very excited to go. I'm surprised he hasn't confirmed yet.

I just heard back from a friend on the vibe marketing team. He said He will be there with keychains and posters to pass out. The poster is apparently of a Satellite Monotone GT because he said the car looks just like mine. I think I might already have a copy of this poster and if so, it's pretty cool.
I will be there. Pablo 1669 talked to me about it and can't wait to be there. Oh by the way I rode in Pablo's car. There are cars that play Rock and Roll. (and there is nothing wrong with that) His car IS Rock and Roll. The parts he has on his car work very well together. The exhaust note is just right and the suspension is just fine on Michigan roads. Nice job!If Pontiac wanted to offer a relatively low cost "Tuner" package , this would be the car to look at. Oh Pontiac are you listening? Also who might have the lowest VIN in attendance. Mine is the 5060th car built. Look forward to seeing you all there.22
