i got a salvaged vibehttp://community.webshots.com/album/68956511WMrzHHgot some work to do still, ill get some better pics soon too i just ordered the service manual and it wil be coming in the next couple days then starting workdoes anyone have any pics of a vibe w/ all read painted plastic guards? or when they are colored are they different than the regular plastic ones from the base vibe?
With the price of parts and how long it is going to take to get them, it might have been better to get a new one. Unless you can afford the wait and this isn't going to be a primary car for a while.

ok welli got it for 5k its only got 10k miles i dont have a general estimated repair cost yet im waiting until i get the service manuali can get a discount on GM parts because my uncle owns a car repair shopand quite a few good parts were still left, they were just taken off and put inside the carthe radiator is still good and some other parts i havnt put the key in yet, i charged up the battery but im waiting until i get the service manual to see how to disconnect the airbags i dont want them to blow up when i put the key in, that'd be an expensive mistake. parts for sure that i will need to buy hood - side panels left and right - bumper and headlights the rest of the car is in good condtiion except in a couple spots the plastic side molding came off.but there is still quite a ways to go, getting the parts, getting it repaired, any other things that will probably pop up, get it inspected. i dont have an estimated time yet heh, a while and thanks for posting that pic of the vibe pics

Hard to tell from the pics, but if it wasn't wrecked hard enough to blow the airbags, hopefully it wasn't messed up too bad. That or (to further the generally dismissed rumor) maybe it doesn't have the stock radio Good luck with it! Please keep us posted on your progress, especially what you find out about parts availability/cost.
well i dont know what you mean by maybe it doesnt have the stock radio, but yeah it does have the stock radio as far as i knowim pretty sure its equipped with the moon and tunes package it has 6 speakers and a moon roof, cruise, power everything etc etclater today i am going to go take some higher resolution pics of the car
OUCH What happened?I don't wanna rain on your parade, but if you ever decide to get rid of that car, do the deal privately. I had a previous-total-loss vehicle, and most dealerships were very very nervous about taking it on trade. As long as the frame isn't damaged, the car is still safe (as was the situation with my old vehicle). Most people know that, but dealerships are gun-shy (IMO) when it comes to these vehicles. However, I am glad to see a Vibe "rise from the grave," so to speak. I think it's sad to see a brand new vehicle in such shape.Good luck!

ok i took some better pics you can see the damage alot more now i know that the vehicle will not have resaleim getting it to get through college, ill probably be keeping it for as long as i know. i probably wont trade it off as long as it does me goodhttp://community.webshots.com/album/69030643VUtrTr
Just a thought. While everything is still exposed, you could probably put in a turbo or a supercharger pretty easy.

Is your Vibe a base or AWD? You didn't give a picture from that corner of the back-end.
