Holly reminds me of Odi (one of my cats). I'm so sorry James. I love my cats, more than I like people at times. I dread the day something happens to one of them.

I am sorry to hear about your cat. After 10 years with the animal its just like losing a family member. I couldn't even imagine losing one of my 3 cats (all brothers) and I have only had them for 3 years.

James,So sorry to read about your loss. I have lost many very close family members early in my young life, including my father, as well as beloved pets. I know from my experiences that losing a pet can feel just like losing a close friend or family member. My heartfelt sympathies to you. We adoped a puppy from a local animal shelter about 10 years ago. She was a Sheltie Collie mix who was rather timid and shy but loved people. When she was about 7-8 months old, we took her to have her spayed as per the adoption agreement. They told us that she had an allergic reaction to the anesthetic for the surgery and she never woke up after the operation was finished. We never believed them because the shelter where she had her surgery I think allows veterenary students to work with the animals there as part of their education. Well, somebody got an "F" that day and we have had broken hearts ever since. Again, my sincerest sympathies to you and my hope that you will remember the fond memories you have had with your faithful companion.

Thank -You for the kindest most beautiful letter I have received and my heart goes out to you on your loss. People who have never owned a pet DO NOT understand their bond with us.BUT-----VIBE IS NOW BACK !! --my recovery period was brief because in my heart I did everything for my girl that I could possibly do . She lived a warm and rich life but she is now pain free -----and so am I. James Stewart

Sorry to hear about your loss also. I lost a cat a couple of years ago that I had for 12 years. He went outside and instead of seeing him back within a few hours, he didn't come back for a few days. I started getting really worried. I was looking out of my front room window when I seen him laying there on the other side of our street. He was hit by a car on the SIDE of the road. Makes me think that some cat hatter hit him on purpose especially since on one came up to the house. He was way too smart to get hit by a car. Anyways, that hit me pretty hard also. I know how you feel. I just hope he didn't have to suffer too long or at all. I am glad to hear that you are doing well and that your cat is pain free and in a better place. Glad to have you back!
