bumpLike a lot of other folks, I found genvibe from a google search. Was searching for "vibe problems" before I bought one. Was a site lurker for a couple of months after I did buy one, and then joined.
I think I was just looking for anything "Vibe" on Yahoo...and I remember stumbling upon it...And my friend in Indiana who I stayed wtih probably will be lurking around here...she has an old Le Baron convertible...which she loves...but I was using her PC while I stayed, and I know GVC is in the address bar...she'll prolly be like "oooh, what's this?" Hehe.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Google search as well... I was trying to find reviews on the Vibe. And one of the links on the 2nd or 3rd page was forum topic... I'm so glad I found this place!

I was laying in bed when a voice from the heavens proclained...GO TO GENVIBE.COM, only there you will find true happiness. Can you believe my girlfriend thinks I'm "a geek" for hanging out in here. I thought it was normal for guys to "be all into their car." ANyways, I think I stumbled upon this site when I tried to disconect my DRL's... but that was so long ago.

Did a Google search when considering buying a Vibe. You folks are so darn charming and convincing I now have owned my Salsa Baby for almost four days. Taking it on our first road trip (to Maine) this weekend.BTW, does anyone use a bug deflector? Thx,Heddy
I think it was a link on the bottom of performancetruck.com or something. I was looking for available parts for my Tundra, but knew I was going to be getting a Vibe in the near future.
Like a lot of others, I found mine through a google search for "Vibe forums."I did it for all the cars I was looking for, to see if there was an active enthusiast's community for the vehicles I was looking at, to see what kind of general population owned the vehicles.Needless to say, I found the best group of people were the Vibe owners, so it did play a tiny part in getting a Vibe. It just also helped that it was the best car I was looking at as well
I was checking out an Edmunds.com message board and I saw a link for this board posted there.
"I our new Vibe almost as much as my Harley, and believe me that says a lot about how I feel about our new Vibe, just ask my wife" 2003 Vibe monotone Neptune/Graphite 4-speed auto, moon & tunes, power package, 4-wheel ABS, and 16" aluminum wheels, all windows tinted 20%
So far almost all have reported finding genvibe from an internet search, although a few have been referred by friends. How about the rest of us, anybody else beside 17tobyracing from the article in Pontiac Performance or from some other referral?
