New to Vibe

Post by SnowFish »

Just picked up a 2010 Vibe. 2.4 Auto. What's up with that slap stick? Sweet! The rest of the car I need to learn. Much exploring.Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks. Only plans, as of now, is to find some OEM roof racks to carry the bikes. We have the trays. Just need the racks.

Welcome! Car looks nice! Good luck on the roof racks. You can find the Toyota Matrix dealer installed ones on ebay most of the time, but I've never seen the Vibe ones on there. Maybe you can get lucky and find some from a wrecked AWD Vibe (they came standard on the AWD models). Look for an AWD transmission or rear differential on http://www.car-part.com to locate an AWD car and call to ask.

Welcome to GV. Nice looking ride...but contrary to what J_TO_ENVY stated, Abyss is in fact the best color..... You'll find folks here to be a wealth of knowledge and all around good people.

Silver looks good for weeks after you wash it, and it even looks great after some rain. Can your abyss do that?

SHARP! I agree that SILVER is a great color for the Vibe, especially the 2gens...

Wow, thanks for all the warm welcomes.Car has under 48k miles. Still on the learning curve of taking off and stopping smoothly. Can't believe the power of this little buddy. And braking, holy cow! We've been driving/modding Geo Metros for the past 10+ years. So going to the Vibe is a quantum leap. No immediate mods for the Vibe planned, except for the rack, since this is my Wife's car. But I have a feeling more will be in order down the road.
